ST Monitoring Cell
The
Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe (Prevention of Atrocities) Act 1989 No. 33
of 1989 dated 11/03/1989, committee consisting of the following is
reconstituted in our institution during the year 2019-2021. The SC/ST cell of
the college functions for the welfare of SC/ST Students and resolves all the
affairs and problems related to them. It is specifically concentrated on
prevention of caste – based discrimination and the welfare of SC/ ST
students. It also guides weaker section
students to avail all permissible scholarships and financial assistance and
other privileges. The College has
appointed Nodal officers to monitor regularly the effective implementation of
reservation policies / rules related to SC/ST as per Government of India/ UGC
notifications.
