Annual alumni meetings, which take place every year, are a magnificent occasion where alumni from various batches come together to exchange stories and voice their appreciation about their almamater. During the meetings, alumni contribute their insightful and original ideas for institutional advancement. Retired alumni members who have served as school directors and teachers provide excellent guidance to teacher candidates while they are interning. The alumni act as role models for future educators in terms of professionalism.

The major interventions of the Alumni include:

  • Act as resource people for the extracurricular and academic events.
  • Offers the college all kinds of support services in an effort to aid in its development.
  • Engaging fully in the orientation and induction process for incoming batches of B.Ed.and M.Ed.
  • Awarding scholarships and endowments.
  • Plan and take part in seminars as well as sports days, celebrations, and day-to-day commemorations.
  • Offer assistance by giving the trainees demonstration classes.
  • Exchanges pre- and post-practice teaching experiences to help B.Ed. and M.Ed. students improve their pedagogical skills, which will be helpful for their teaching competency sessions in schools.
  • Offer information on placement relevant to the teaching sector.

The alumni who are Heads of various Practice Teaching Schools serve as mentors to trainees, providing them with guidance on changes to the educational system, school management, and assessment methodology. In addition to constantly monitoring and overseeing all internship programmes, they provide trainee teachers with demonstration classes. They mentor trainees in teaching techniques and offer them insightful criticism.Alumni supervise students during Microteaching and serve as judges for different activities.
